Summer update

Howdy!
I know I haven't posted pictures but I can't seem to get my camera compatable with computers. Oh well, You'll just have to use your imagination!
We've been having a really great time! This past week the kids attended "Camp Grandma". Briefly, when I was a child, the family we hung out with most had two children also. Their mom and my mom were best friends. So those two children each have two children and my two children went to what was called "Camp Grandma". The two grandmas planned a fabulous 3 day-3 night parent free giant sleep over at Detroit Lake. One of the grown-up kids owns a house up there that they used. I stayed for the first day because I didn't have any place to go. Plus, I helped out get things ready and was just another set of hands that first day getting everybody settled. Lilly was the youngest of the six grandkids. Josiah and Lilly really enjoyed playing with another set of "cousins". Thier personalities make it easy for them to make friends and they are so easy going and flexible for the most part. Praise God! So anyway, they had a super great time there. The last two days I spent with my sister. At first it was weird being without the kids 'cause 99% of the time they are with me. That first night we stayed up late at one of Ginger's friends house and we played computer games! The next day, Ginger had a to work and she also had a dentist appointment so I just relaxed and did laundry and such. On Friday, my parents brought the kids to Enchanted Forest and we met them there. Enchanted Forest is a small Amusement Park nearby. I went there as a small kid and enjoyed showin it to them. Think of Disneyland shrunk down to the size of Toontown. Kind of like that! The kids had a blast and so did we. My sister has two cats that Josiah and Lilly have been having fun with. The cats aren't too sure of them though. Today, we went to an art fair and spent most of the morning and early afternoon there. They had craft booths that the kids did crafts at. (Yes, I cringed at paying good money for crafts that mom could have done {and has} for free! My only thought was hoping the money was going for a good cause!) Yes, they had fun at that was the most important part. Today, we also spent some time getting ready for The Great Camping Trip! My sister and I, with no (in my head I was thinking "no adult help", but wait, we are adults!) no men to help are taking the kids camping. We rented a small bare bones cabin in a RV park. Kind of like the Kamping Kabins at KOA but cheaper. It's near the coast and we are soooo looking forward to the cooler weather! Will let you know how it goes! Tomorrow we go to church in Lebanon. Will tell you about that later too!
Hope all is well with all of you. Continue to have a safe and happy summer!
Congratulations Ms. S on your marriage today! May God Bless you and your husband richly!
